Location Log is made for people that like to be able to know exactly where they were at any point in time, but who also value their privacy and want to be able to achieve this without having to share their data with anyone (not even the app developer).
Once installed, Location Log continuously and accurately tracks your location in the background throughout each day, ensuring that your location data is held *locally* on your device, and available only to you - not shared with anyone. You can browse your past locations either by date or by area search.
In a world where data tends to be the new currency, Location Log stands against this trend by trying to keep as much of your data as private as possible, so that you do not have to share it with anyone. This is why no sign-up or login is required, and of course no centralised server is used to store any location history: because the location data is held privately and locally on your device.
The app has been specifically designed in a unique way to optimise battery usage, despite continuously and accurately tracking your location throughout each day in the background.
